EURO-PARK Kobierzyce was established in the Wrocław-Kobierzyce Subzone of the TSEZ EURO-PARK Wisłosan, established in 2005 to implement investment agreements of the Council of Ministers with LG Philips LCD and its sub-suppliers and cooperators in the field of investment in the production of LCD TV. The industrial park is located in the Kobierzyce commune and covers the area of Biskupice Podgórne and Bielany Wrocławskie, with a total area of approx. 410 ha, 240 ha of which are developed areas for investments (210 ha in Biskupice Podgórne and 30 ha in Bielany Wrocławskie). In 2016, LG Electronics decided to transfer the production of TV sets from Biskupice Podgórne to Mława, and in the Wrocław-Kobierzyce Subzone, the first in Europe factory of batteries for electric cars by LG Energy Solution was established. At the moment, this plant is the largest plant of this type in the world, with a production capacity of 70 GWh of battery capacity per year (for comparison: TESLA Gigafactory in Nevada produces 20 GWh).
There are 31 investors in the industrial park, mainly from the automotive industry, but also from the electronics, paper and machinery industries.
