EURO-PARK Kobierzyce is located in the Wroclaw-Kobierzyce subzone of the EURO-PARK Wisłosan TSEZ. It was established in 2005 to implement the investment agreements concluded by the Council of Ministers with LG Philips LCD and its suppliers and co-operators regarding the investment in the production of LCD televisions. The Industrial Park is located in the Kobierzyce Commune and covers the area of Biskupice Podgórne and Bielany Wrocławskie. It has a total area of approximately 410 ha, of which 240 ha constitute the developed investment areas (210 ha in Biskupice Podgórne and 30 ha in Bielany Wrocławskie). In 2016, LG Electronics decided to relocate the production of TV sets from Biskupice Podgórne to Mława. In the Wrocław-Kobierzyce subzone, the first LG Energy Solution plant in Europe for batteries for electric cars was built. This is currently the largest factory of its kind in the world, with a production capacity of 70 GWh of batteries per year (for comparison, the TESLA Gigafactory in Nevada produces 20 GWh).
There are 31 investors in the industrial park, mainly from the automotive industry, but also from the electronics, paper and machinery industries.
