The fifth edition of Startup Slice is behind us! On September 24, entrepreneurs and people interested in business development, new technologies, and startups met again at Euro-Park Ząbkowice.
After the summer break we're back with a new, even more practical meeting format guided by the idea: problem – company – solution. We want to talk about real businesses, concrete challenges and solutions that have delivered measurable results.
From a market niche to scaling a business
The meeting was led by Tomasz Popów, who this time presented to the participants the history of Sellintegro.pl — a technology company operating in a B2B SaaS model.
During the meeting, participants could learn about the inner workings of the company's development — from identifying a market niche and assembling the right team, through product development and building sales and a B2B community, to financing further growth and securing a strategic investor.
An important part of the discussion was Product-Market Fit, i.e. aligning the product with the market’s real needs. We also talked about how to focus on features that customers are actually willing to pay for, how to build effective distribution channels, and why a company doesn’t always have to be the leader in its category to create a valuable and scalable business.
Knowledge, discussion and networking
Startup Slice is not just a presentation of a specific business case study. As with every edition, there was no shortage of questions, exchange of experiences, discussions and networking.
We are glad that Justyna Giryn — Deputy Starost of Ząbkowice County — also took part in the fifth edition of Startup Slice. We thank her for attending and for her interest in initiatives supporting entrepreneurship and the development of the local business community.
We also thank Tomasz Popow for another portion of practical knowledge and all the participants for their presence, questions, and active participation in the meeting.
We are consistently developing Startup Slice as a space for businesspeople to meet, exchange knowledge and experience, and discuss the real challenges of running and growing companies.
See you at Startup Slice #6!
